I was born and raised in Wausau. I married my husband Jerry in 1990 and remained in Wausau to raise our children. We have two boys; Nickolas will be attending UW-MC and Nathan is in middle school.

In the summer we enjoy camping, golfing, reading and biking. We also spend a great deal of time at the baseball diamonds. I am close to my family and have enjoyed watching my siblings’ families grow. It’s been wonderful having my parents close by as my children have grown. We have two boys, Nickolas and Nathan.

I began working at Dental Options in 1991. Throughout the years I have worked as a receptionist and dental assistant gaining knowledge of many areas of the practice. For the past few years my primary role has been working with patients by helping them obtain the best benefits from their insurance company. I also, share the office administration duties with friend and coworker Betty.

My job is enjoyable because of the friendships that I have formed through the many years. I take pleasure in getting to know patients personally.  I know they will receive exceptional care with Dr. Bearjar.  I truly enjoy my job and you’ll see it show through in my work!

I have been working at Dental Options since 1993.  Dr. Bearjar shares my views on how important dental care is for our patients. As I have worked in this practice, I have gotten to know patients and coworkers, which has been a most rewarding experience.

I especially love working with children. I am very passionate about health, especially oral health. I strive to be a part of improving our patients’ health by the proper home care and education. Any tidbit of information I can provide is always a joy for me.

                  Dental Assisting Staff

I have been a Dental Assistant for Dental Options since 2004.  I take great pride in helping patients feel relaxed and comfortable while treating them just like family.  I value the great patients I care for and feel blessed in assisting Dr. Bearjar in providing them with high-quality dental care.  I believe it is due to Dr. Bearjar’s deep compassion for people, patience, dedication and detailed workmanship that he has inspired his long-term staff to follow in the reputation he has built this practice on.

I was born and raised in Weston but now live in Rothschild with my husband, Tim.  We have a son and daughter who are both in college working hard towards their dreams.  In my free time, I love sending inspirational or encouraging cards to anyone I feel may need a little lift in their day.  I also enjoy visiting the elderly, organizing, decorating and writing poetry.  Whether it is a road trip, going up north to the lake, a quiet evening around the campfire or a simple game night; spending time with my family is ultimately my greatest joy.

                    Registered Dental Hygienist

Hello, my name is Kathy, the newest member of Dr Bearjar's Dental team. I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh's Dental Hygiene program in 1983, which began my dental career. After living in several Northeastern states while my husband Roy was pursuing his Ph.D. in Biochemistry, we moved to Milwaukee WI in 1998, where he started his research lab at the Medical College of WI in the Microbiology department. We have a daughter Rachel, who lives in the Twin Cities and will be starting Physical Therapy School in July at the University of MN.

Most recently we moved to Weston, so my husband could accept the position of Assistant Dean of Basic Science Curriculum for the Medical College of WI Medical School Central WI Regional Campus in Wausau. The move has been a good transition back to a quieter, small-town lifestyle which is very similar to our upbringing in Pennsylvania.

I enjoy the outdoors, walking my dog, golfing with my husband and gardening. I look forward to meeting you in Dr Bearjar's office where I hope to provide the best dental care for you.
